More About Our Services
What to Expect
Visiting a new church can feel like a big step. Here’s what most first-time guests want to know:
✅ Dress comfortably. Some wear jeans, others wear jackets or dresses. In summer, we even encourage costumes!
✅ Kids are welcome! Our Sunday morning 9:30am is specifically designed for families with young children. The nursery opens at 9am for infants and toddlers, and the service itself includes a children’s sermon every week. Plus, when there’s a baptism, the kids get to lead us in the Baptism Parade!
✅ We celebrate communion weekly, and all are invited to receive—no exceptions.
✅ Plenty of parking is available in our lot and nearby streets. It’s free on Sundays.
✅ Fellowship follows each service. Coffee, snacks, and warm conversation await, along with our weekly Sunday Forum where we discuss a variety of theological topics, enjoy special guest speakers, and grow together in spirit.
Worship for All Ages
At St. Peter’s, children and teens are active participants in the life of the church. We believe faith is formed through experience, joy, and loving relationships.
Nursery Care: Infants and toddlers are cared for by trained staff during the 9:30am service.
Sunday School: Kids begin in the sanctuary, then leave for their own interactive lessons after the children’s sermon.
Youth Involvement: Teens serve as acolytes, readers, and more—and meet regularly for fellowship and service.

Music in Worship
Music at St. Peter’s is more than accompaniment—it’s an offering to God and a shared expression of faith. Our services are enriched by:
Talented adult and family choirs, and youth musicians
Classical pipe organ, piano, and guest instrumentalists
Themed music Sundays, such as Jazz Sunday, U2 Sunday, and Video Game Music Sunday
Opportunities for all ages to participate in our music ministry
Interested in singing or playing an instrument? Learn more about our music ministry here.
Worship Online
Can’t make it in person? No problem. We livestream both our 8am and 9:30am Sunday services and offer past worship videos on demand.
