This summer, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Del Mar is turning up the volume with a 13-week musical journey that brings together timeless hymns, beloved themes, and bold new rhythms. Whether you’re a lifelong churchgoer, a curious visitor, or simply someone who loves a good tune, St. Peter’s Summer Music Series invites you to experience worship like never before — filled with joy, surprise, and spiritual resonance.
From bluegrass banjos to Studio Ghibli soundscapes, each Sunday will feature a themed musical offering woven into our worship services. This is not just about music — it’s about connection, community, and experiencing God’s presence through the universal language of song.

🎻 June 15 – Bluegrass Sunday
Kick off the season with toe-tapping Appalachian charm. Gospel roots meet fiddle flair in a celebration of heartfelt harmony and down-home faith.

🎀 June 29 – Barbie Music Sunday
Come on, let’s go party — in pink! This joyful, fun-filled Sunday will explore beauty, self-worth, and empowerment through Barbie-inspired music and messages.
🌍 July 6 – World Music Sunday
Celebrate the rich diversity of God’s people with songs and sounds from across the globe. Drums, chants, and global hymns will lift our spirits in unity.
🏰 July 13 – Disney Sunday
From “Let It Go” to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” the magic of Disney meets the message of God’s love. Kids of all ages — and the young at heart — will love it!
🌈 July 20 – Pride Sunday
A celebration of God’s inclusive love and the vibrant gifts of the LGBTQ+ community. Expect joyful anthems of acceptance and pride.

🎷 August 3 – Jazz Sunday

🎤 August 31 – Popera Sunday
Where classical meets pop, and grandeur meets groove. Think Andrea Bocelli meets Queen — bold, uplifting, and unforgettable.
⚡️ September 7 – Harry Potter Sunday
