St. Peter’s Youth

Be real. Make friends. Grow in faith.

Being a teen today is… a lot. Classes, sports, college prep, friendships, social media—it never ends.

Add in the bigger questions about life, God, and who you’re becoming, and it can feel overwhelming.

That’s why St. Peter’s Youth exists: a safe, fun, in-person space where teens can:

  • Hang out — no pressure

  • Build real friendships — beyond the screen

  • Explore faith in ways that actually matter

🚫 Oh, and this is a side-eye free zone

Ask your questions, bring your doubts—no judgment here

🙌 Service: Make an Impact

Faith isn’t just words—it’s action. At St. Peter’s, we show love by showing up:

  • Become an acolyte, greeter, or choir member—yes, you can actually be part of worship, not just sit (or sleep) through it

  • Jump in on community projects like beach cleanups, food drives, and helping neighbors in need

  • Join service trips that make a difference and create stories worth telling

💡 Low-key perk: Serving looks great on college apps, but the real win is discovering your purpose.

🎉 Sharing: Some things just hit different when you share them:

  • Annual Youth Christmas Party 🎄 = snacks, games, and peak chaotic energy

  • Blessing of the Animals 🐾 = yes, bring your dog, cat, or hamster (the one time side-eye is allowed — but only from animals!)

  • Game nights...

  • Retreats...

  • Random adventures that turn into lifelong inside jokes 🐠

✝️ Strengthening Faith: Real Questions Welcome

Dive into weekly youth group = fun + real talk about life, God, and everything in between.

Every 4 years, go big with a Youth Pilgrimage. The last one? Alaska, 2023 🏔️—10/10 recommend

💭 If you’ve ever thought, “Church = boring,” plot twist: it doesn’t have to be.

Alaska Pilgrimage Reflections

In 2023, we did a Pilgrimage to Alaska. We kayaked, hiked glaciers, learned totem pole carving, and did service projects along the way. These are some of our reflections…

Confirmation: What’s the Deal?

Okay, so you’ve probably heard people drop the word “Confirmation” in church. It might sound super formal, but the truth is Confirmation is just a chance to say, “Yeah, I want to own this faith thing for myself.”

It’s not about passing a test, dressing up fancy, or pretending to be someone you’re not.

At St. Peter’s, Confirmation is all about asking your own questions, being real about your doubts, and deciding if this whole Jesus-thing is something you want to lean into.

And the best part? Is doing it together. You’ll go through it with other teens who are figuring it out too, so you’re never stuck solo.

Want in? Talk to our youth leaders about when the next Confirmation journey starts.

If you’re not ready yet—totally cool. Keep hanging with us, and you’ll know when (or if) the time is right.

Come to Youth Group!
