Where Faith Meets Friendship and Fun

Youth are the church of today! You don't have to be an Episcopalian or even identify as a Christian to join us - although we will do churchy things, we will never make you do anything that feels uncomfortable! If you are searching for a community of faithful friends we hope you will come as you are.

St. Peter's Youth seek to reveal the glory of God through all their actions, but specifically in the areas of service, fellowship, and education. As we SERVE and SHARE together, we STRENGTHEN our faith and our community.

Join us for Youth Group (grades 7-12) Sundays at 10:30am, September-May.

SERVE

Four children dressed in altar server robes, holding candles and a cross, walking outside of a church.

On Sunday mornings, you’ll see youth involved in almost every aspect of church life — the Jr. Altar Guild, in the Choir, and as Acolytes, Greeters, Lectors, and Ushers.

Our youth also participate along with our entire parish in community outreach and do annual mission activities to serve the greater global community.

SHARE

Group of five teenagers in a kitchen, smiling, with one holding a packaged meat and another holding a potato.

We have lots of fun activities and fellowship events thought the year. These events are a combination of family-friendly events as well as events just for youth.

We join forces with youth from all over the diocese for bigger, even more awesome events through the diocesan Youth Collaborative.

STRENGTHEN

Group of young travelers with suitcases posing for a photo at an airport with a model airplane hanging from the ceiling.

We meet weekly, September through June, for Sunday School and Youth Group.

Our youth take Confirmation Classes to prepare for confirmation with the bishop.

Every four years our youth embark on a Pilgrimage. The planning, fundraising and discernment take years to prepare for this spiritual journey.

Pilgriamge Reflections

In 2023, our youth did a Pilgrimage to Alaska. They kayaked, hiked glaciers, learned totem pole carving, and did service projects along the way. These are some of their reflections…
