Madeline Polhill, Lay Associate
Madeline Polhill is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, having finished her studies in 2025. Originally from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, she holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Richmond and previously taught high school geometry and trigonometry before discerning a call to ministry. Her passion for exploring the deep questions of faith and accompanying others through life’s joys and challenges led her to pursue theological studies and pastoral work. In the summer of 2024, she completed a hospital chaplaincy internship at UC San Diego Health.
She loves exploring new places—having visited 23 of 50 U.S. states so far—playing piano, and making friends with every dog she meets. Madeline is engaged to Joseph Rhodenhiser, a member of the vestry at St. Peter’s, and they will be married in July 2025.
