About St. Peter’s Thrift Shop
St. Peter’s Thrift Shop was established in 1967 by The Women of St. Peter’s as a ministry to support those in need in our community. Since then, we have grown both in size and support.
We have a volunteer staff of over 50 who helped us sell over 90,000 donations in 2022 alone!
All profits provide support to the ministries of St. Peter’s and the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, and 5% of total church revenue is dedicated to a wide range of agencies that provide community services and assistance to the less fortunate.
Donations
Thank you to all who have donated, and continue to donate to St. Peter’s Thrift Shop. We couldn’t do it without you!
We gratefully accept new and gently used items that are clean and in good condition. Including: clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, sporting goods, kitchen & bath items, home decor, books and small accent furniture.
We also accept non-perishable food, which we in turn donate to the local food pantry.
We do not accept major appliances, mattresses, large furniture, electronics such as TVs, printers and computers.

Join Our Volunteers
Volunteering is one of the most rewarding aspects of our ministry. We provide the opportunity for caring people to make a contribution to many areas of need through direct contact with our customers and donors. The fellowship of working side by side with other volunteers to achieve a common goal of helping others is a wonderful opportunity for community and personal growth.
If you have a passion for helping others or a love of thrifting, we welcome you to join our team. We are flexible with hours and welcome anyone interested, even if it’s just a few hours a week or a month.
