Vestry - Class of 2026

My wife, Diana, and I have been coming to St. Peters since 2008 and we transferred our membership here in 2016. I am a mathematician and have been consulting in San Diego since 1999. I served on the vestry from 2018 through 2020. During those years we, the Endowment Committee, worked hard to rewrite our Endowment policy which was finally finished in 2019. I have also served on the Endowment Commission and the Senior Services Committee. I served as chair of the Senior Services Committee which prepared a document for the SPSSC regarding how various funds could be used and managed.

Diana and I have enjoyed being part of the St. Peter's outreach program. Seven years ago I started driving the rig with the showers for the Showers of Blessing operation. Every week this ecumenical group has provided help to the homeless. Diana and I just retired from that activity. It has been a blessing to us to participate in it. We have also participated in the IFS activities over the years.

I think it is part of the vestry's role to ensure that prudent use is made of assets to further our spiritual goals while we are here and act as stewards to ensure that the next generations can do the same.
