A Joyful Noise

Music is an integral part of St. Peter’s worship and offering to God, seeking to express what is otherwise inexpressible. In response to the Psalm, “Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness,” or “Worship the Lord in holiness of beauty”, we offer to God the best music possible respecting the intelligence, emotional richness, and diversity of the congregation in which we minister. St Peter’s Church is one of the few parishes in San Diego where liturgical music can be heard regularly in its proper context. Music at St Peter’s is also part of our outreach to the surrounding community, and is a vehicle for carrying the Gospel into human hearts.
