The Stories of the Birth of Jesus, or "Every Christmas Pageant you ever saw was a lie!"
There are angels and a stable and shepherds in Luke's Gospel, and a star and wise men in Matthew's Gospel but there is no single account which includes both shepherds and wise men. Every nativity creche is a hybrid produced by blending both Gospels. Come and learn about the different accounts and interpretations of Jesus' birth in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke in two special Advent Adult Education Forums, led by our parishioner, Dr. David Moseley.
