Registration for Sunday School is found here!

The children and youth programs at St. Peter’s have been chosen to help students explore basic bible stories, the sacraments and seasons of the church and emphasize the building of relationships with God and one another.  If you are interested in teaching or substitute teaching please contact Anne Page at annepage@stpetersdelmar.net

Infants up to 3 years

Children will become familiar with Bible stories and understand the basic meaning.  There will be simple crafts that the children can make relating to the stories.

4 years – Kindergarten              Godly Play I

Grades 1 – 2                             Godly Play II

Godly Play is based on creating a sacred space in which to present the stories of our faith, wonder about them together, and then allow the children open-ended opportunities, usually with art supplies, to engage the story on their own terms.

Grades 3 - 4                               Faithful Explorers

Spark, the curriculum used in this class is a Sunday school faith formation program designed to activate faith in children.  Bible-centered, it encourages children to open the Scriptures and explore God's Word through a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to accommodate all of the different ways children learn.

Grades 5                                  Alpha Hearts

This class will be using the lectionary based Living the Good News curriculum that will certainly bring the weekly readings alive. Living the Good News bridges our everyday stories with the timeless stories of our Christian faith - a celebration of God's unending love and grace!
